Francely Zurita, originally from Monterrey, Mexico, began her musical studies at an early age. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) before continuing her musical education in Europe, specializing in flute performance, Baroque music, and pedagogy.
In Lyon, France, she studied under Sophie Dufeutrelle and earned the Diplôme d’Études Musicales in Flute Performance, the highest diploma awarded by French regional conservatories. She later trained at the Haute École de Musique de Genève in Switzerland with Serge Saitta, completing both her Bachelor’s in Early Music and Master’s in Music Pedagogy, focusing on Baroque Flute (Traverso) and the Dalcroze Method—a holistic approach to music education integrating eurhythmics, solfège, and improvisation.
She has performed internationally across Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, Lebanon, Korea, Mexico, and the United States as a soloist, with various orchestras, and in chamber ensembles, including as a soloist with the Baroque Orchestra of the Geneva Conservatory at Salle Liszt in Geneva and Beaux Arts in Lyon.
Now based in Washington State, she has performed a special Baroque concert with the Walla Walla Symphony and a recital at Whitman College, Winner of Mexico’s National Flute Competition, the “Gildardo Mojica” Prize, Francely also recorded a solo album, Vent, featuring sacred music for flute.

Education & Teaching
Francely Zurita is a dedicated and innovative music educator, specializing in the Dalcroze Method—a holistic approach integrating eurhythmics, solfège, improvisation, and movement. She has taught at prestigious institutions in Europe, including the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze and the Conservatoire Populaire de Genève, as well as at the École Municipale de Musique de Meyrin.
In the United States, she taught and performed at the Summer Strings Camp “At First Sight” at Southern Adventist University, offering classes in Music and Movement using the Dalcroze Method. She also taught at the Walla Walla Valley Adventist School, working with over 250 students, where she produced large-scale Christmas concerts combining music, movement, visual projections, painting, and lighting to create immersive, multidisciplinary performances.

Francely combines her expertise as a flutist, educator, and Dalcroze specialist to create large-scale, multidisciplinary productions that blend music, choir, movement, instrumental ensembles including drums, and visual elements such as painting and lighting. Her productions are designed to be immersive artistic experiences that engage audiences and performers alike.
Her approach emphasizes creativity, expression, and collaboration, guiding performers to explore music through body, voice, and imagination, whether in private lessons, group ensembles, or major productions.
